Celina Igwe can’t remember her life without serving and attending church. She was born into a faith based family in Rio Rancho, NM. Her grandparents were deacons and her mother still heavily volunteers within church communities. From a young age Celina also felt attracted to serving in the church, and for her it was all things creative.
Within the church walls Celina has served and worshiped God through choir, praise dance, prayer teams and drama. It was through drama that the gospel message and her passion united.
Celina began to study theatre and get involved with professional community productions starting at the age of 11. During high school she attended Las Vegas Academy for the Arts where she majored in theatre studies.
Her passion was strong, but during her teen years, her faith began to weaken. She had misunderstood the character of God and thus pulled away from Him. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career solely instead.
While in California, after living a few years without God, He called her back to Him. Moved by God’s love and His compassionate pursuit, Celina decided to sacrifice her theatre and film career to dedicate her life to God and ministry.
She began attending church again and the first church she re-entered was the one that led her to her husband, Christian. The two were wed in August 2011 and have grown their family with their three beautiful children: Angelie, Promise and Christian Jr. (CJ).
When the family returned to Las Vegas, Celina enrolled in Northwest University, to study ministerial leadership and theology. She soon realized that God was not done with her creative side just yet. He simply redirected it towards His Will.
After graduating from ministry school, Celina began to participate in theatrical communities again, this time with a mission to display the gospel in creative ways and to point people towards Christ.
Soon her acting pursuits molded into writing and directing, which afforded her the opportunity to share the gospel throughout a production and expand the vision God inspired!
God began to open more doors for this creative ministry, and she has been able to extend the ministry’s reach into film and community outreach.
